01 General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the type of event, the cancellation circumstances, and the refund terms specified by the event organizer.

Before completing a payment, participants should carefully review the event's registration, cancellation, and refund conditions.

Where an event-specific refund policy is displayed, that policy will generally apply to the relevant registration, subject to applicable law.

02 Organizer-Defined Refund Policies

Event organizers may establish refund rules for their events, including:

✓ Full refunds.
✓ Partial refunds.
✓ Refunds subject to a cancellation fee.
✓ No refunds.
✓ Refunds available only before a specified deadline.
✓ Refunds available only if the event is cancelled or postponed.

The applicable refund conditions should be clearly communicated to participants before payment wherever reasonably possible.

03 Participant Cancellation

A participant may request cancellation of an event registration where cancellation is permitted by the applicable event policy. Refunds may depend on:

✓ The date and time of the cancellation request.
✓ The event's cancellation deadline.
✓ The amount paid.
✓ The organizer's refund policy.
✓ Any applicable processing or transaction charges.

If the event does not allow refunds, a cancellation request may not result in a refund.

04 Event Cancellation by Organizer

If an organizer cancels an event, registered participants may be eligible for a refund depending on the circumstances and the organizer's stated refund policy.

Where a refund is approved, Eventixy or the applicable payment provider may process the refund to the original payment method where technically and legally possible.

The timing of the refund may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other payment service.

05 Event Postponement or Rescheduling

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the organizer may:

✓ Allow the existing registration to remain valid.
✓ Provide participants with the option to cancel.
✓ Provide a full or partial refund.
✓ Offer alternative arrangements.

The applicable resolution will depend on the organizer's event policy and the circumstances of the change.

06 Failed or Unsuccessful Payments

If money is deducted from your bank account or payment method but the Eventixy registration is not successfully completed, the transaction may be automatically reversed or refunded after payment status verification.

In such cases, participants should not make repeated payments immediately.

The time required for a failed transaction to be reversed depends on the payment gateway and the relevant bank or financial institution.

07 Duplicate Payments

If you accidentally make multiple payments for the same registration, please contact Eventixy support with the relevant transaction details.

After verification, an eligible duplicate payment may be refunded to the original payment method.

08 Incorrect Payment Amount

If you believe that you were charged an incorrect amount, contact Eventixy support as soon as possible. We may review:

✓ Registration details.
✓ Event pricing.
✓ Transaction records.
✓ Payment gateway information.
✓ Applicable discounts or charges.

If an incorrect charge is confirmed, the eligible amount may be refunded.

09 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be initiated through the payment method or payment provider used for the original transaction.

Depending on the payment method, it may take several business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

Eventixy cannot guarantee the exact time required by a bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or third-party payment service.

10 Payment Gateway and Transaction Charges

Depending on the event and payment method, certain payment gateway, processing, convenience, or transaction charges may apply.

Where applicable, these charges may be non-refundable if permitted by the relevant terms and applicable law.

Any applicable charges should be disclosed before payment wherever reasonably possible.

11 Non-Refundable Situations

Unless otherwise stated by the event organizer or required by applicable law, refunds may not be available where:

✓ The participant simply chooses not to attend the event.
✓ The participant arrives late or leaves the event early.
✓ The participant fails to meet event eligibility requirements after registration.
✓ The participant violates event rules.
✓ The participant provides incorrect or incomplete information.
✓ The participant misses the applicable cancellation deadline.
✓ The event's published policy states that registrations are non-refundable.

12 Organizer Responsibility

For events created by independent organizers, the organizer is responsible for establishing and honoring the applicable event refund terms.

Eventixy may provide technical support and facilitate payment-related processes, but Eventixy is not necessarily the party responsible for determining whether an organizer's event registration should be refunded.

Organizers must not publish misleading or inaccurate refund conditions.

13 Refund Requests

To request a refund, participants should contact Eventixy through the available support channels and provide relevant information, such as:

✓ Participant name.
✓ Registered email address.
✓ Event name.
✓ Registration ID.
✓ Transaction ID.
✓ Payment date.
✓ Reason for the refund request.
✓ Any supporting information requested by the support team.

Providing complete information can help us process the request more efficiently.

14 Refund Review

Refund requests may be reviewed before approval. Eventixy or the relevant organizer may verify:

✓ Registration status.
✓ Payment status.
✓ Event cancellation status.
✓ Applicable event refund policy.
✓ Cancellation date and time.
✓ Transaction information.

Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.

15 Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe that a transaction was made without your authorization, contact your bank or payment provider immediately and notify Eventixy support.

Eventixy may investigate suspected fraudulent transactions and may suspend or restrict accounts involved in suspected fraud or abuse.

16 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Participants should contact Eventixy support regarding legitimate payment or refund concerns before initiating a chargeback where reasonably possible.

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may be investigated and may result in account restrictions where appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available to consumers under applicable law.

17 Refunds for Promotional Offers or Discounts

If an event registration was completed using a promotional code, discount, scholarship, coupon, or other special offer, the refund amount may be calculated according to the terms applicable to that offer.

Promotional discounts may not be refundable as cash unless expressly stated otherwise.

18 Taxes and Statutory Charges

Where applicable, taxes, statutory charges, or other legally required amounts may be included in the event price.

The treatment of such amounts in a refund will depend on applicable law, the nature of the transaction, and the relevant organizer or payment provider policy.

19 Changes to This Refund Policy

Eventixy may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page along with an updated "Last Updated" date.

The refund terms applicable to a particular registration will generally be determined by the policy presented at or applicable to the time of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
